Due to the national crisis in recruiting GPs we are using a new model of care.
This means that pre-bookable appointments with GPs are not available.
Please call on the day you wish to be seen so that we can address your healthcare needs on the day that suits you, with the right healthcare professional at your first consultation.
Your call will be placed in a triage list for a Nurse Practitioner or Paramedic Practitioner to call you back. The Clinician will attempt to call you back twice. If no answer after two attempts it will be recorded as a failed encounter and you would need to ring in again to be added to the triage list.
These healthcare professionals are trained to assess your need appropriately and direct you to the care you need.
We can offer flexibility for patients whose job means they are unable to keep their telephone switched on for the call back so please discuss with the receptionist if this applies to you.
GP Appointments
The majority of our GP appointments are book on the day. If you ask for an appointment for the same day you will be asked to speak to the one of the Clinical Practitioners, who may offer to see you themselves or make an appointment with a doctor- this may be face to face or via the telephone. This enables us to give priority to urgent cases and means that patients do not have to wait for long periods in the surgery.
Please note there is not a walk-in triage service.
Practice Nurse Appointments
Patients can now access Practice Nurse and Healthcare Assistant appointments online. Appointments are available to book in advance, please ask at Reception.

Telephone Advice
If you need advice please tell the receptionist who will take your number and arrange for the nurse Practitioner or if appropriate a Doctor to return your call when possible. This means that we will have time to talk to you and will have your medical records to hand.
We do need to respond instantly to serious incidents and emergencies. We do apologise if you have to wait while your doctor is dealing with a crisis. We hope that you will understand.
Appointments at the local hub
