Out Of Hours
When the surgery is closed (between 6.30pm and 8.00am weekdays and at weekends) out-of- hours care is provided by NHS 111.
Please telephone 111, which is a free call, and you will be able to speak to an operator who will provide advice or refer you to a doctor. You may be offered further advice, a visit to a clinic or for the bed-bound and more seriously ill, a home visit.
You can use NHS 111 online 111.nhs.uk. 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
